Florida's MIAMI During a hectic week for national team football in the Concacaf region, the 2023–24 Concacaf Nations League Finals take center stage.

The third season of the Concacaf Nations League comes to an end this Thursday night when the Semifinals take place.

The United States and Jamaica will go on stage first. The United States is the two-time defending champion, having won the first competition in 2021 and the 2022–23 CNL championship in Las Vegas last summer.

Numerous players from previous championship-winning U.S. squads, including Christian Pulisic, Gio Reyna, and Weston McKennie, will be back in the mix.

As the first Caribbean team to ever make it to the last four in the CNL Finals, Jamaica is creating history this year. They'll turn to Bobby Reid and other difference makers. Demarai Gray and Michael Antonio in an attempt to unseat the defending champs and advance to the championship game.

The nightcap features Mexico versus Panama in a replay of the Concacaf Gold Cup Final from 2023. After losing to the United States in the 2023 Semifinals, Mexico advanced to the Final in 2021 but is now vying for their first-ever CNL championship. The individual who scored the winningStar attacker Hirving Lozano and Santiago Gimenez, who scored the game-winning goal against Panama in the 2023 Gold Cup Final, are both expected to play for El Tricolor.

After making their debut at the 2023 edition last summer, Panama is in their second CNL Finals. Prior to the Gold Cup Final in 2023, the Canaleros faced El Tricolor in the Third-Place Match and lost by a slim margin of 1-0. With 2023 Gold Cup Best Player Award winner Adalberto Carrasquilla and dynamic MF Edgar Barcenas, Panama has a chance to exact revenge in this semifinal match. They will definitely like their chances.

Play-Ins for Concacaf Nations League

There will be Concacaf Nations League Play this Saturday.In games thatwill occur at Frisco, Texas's Toyota Stadium.

Trinidad and Tobago will play Canada in the opening game. These two teams have faced off in multiple Concacaf competitions. Most notably, in the 2000 Concacaf Gold Cup semifinals, Canada emerged victorious, 1-0, over the Soca Warriors.

Honduras and Costa Rica, two well-known rivals in Central America, will square off in the second Play-In encounter. The Catrachos and Ticos faced off in the third-place match of the 2021 Finals in the Concacaf Nations League.

The CONMEBOL Copa America 2024 will be open to the winners of each play-in.

FIFA World Cup 2026 qualification round for Concacaf

This week marks the beginning of the first round of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which consists of two legs.d series.

The US Virgin Islands will host the British Virgin Islands on Friday, while Anguilla will host the Turks & Caicos Islands.

The last time all four countries played in the Concacaf Nations League was in League C in 2023–24.
